Ok now after you finish watching the cut scene of Testing the Waters at the Cutter, you'll be warped to Talacca Cove. This is where the BCNM fight will be. However if you decide not to do the BCNM fight now after getting the cut scene done for Testing the Waters, you can come back later and examine the Rock Slab to enter the BCNM.
Now the confusing part incase you want to do the BCNM fight later is getting back to the Talacca Cove. Talacca Cove is actually located just north of the cemetary in Caedarva Mire. You'll have to run around a bit in Talacca Cove to find the Rock Slab.
Lets get to the actual BCNM fight now that you decided to take it on. This is actually one of the more harder TAU mission fight. You are actually fighting Gessho. He's a ninja so he has the standard ninja abilities and tools with high evasion. He also has the usual ninja 2 hour ability, Mijin Gakure. What makes this a hard fight is because Gessho can teleport around the BCNM area, make clones of himself every few times, and can blow up using Mijin Gakure several times. The Mijin Gakure is the main problem because if Gessho decide to spam it, your party will be in trouble. It's random on how many times will he use Mijin Gakure.
So whats the good news? Well you only need to take his HP down to 15% before the BCNM fight ends with Gessho giving up.
Strategy? Well first it's recommended you come with a 6 party member. You
can fight him normal style or kiting style with everyone including mages standing
far back to avoid gettting hit with Mijin Gakure over and over. Gessho hits pretty
hard and fast so Ninja tank might be preferred. However a Paladin tank can also
be useful since a Paladin can handle the hits for Gessho clones better than a
Ninja. At any rate, concentrate everything on Gessho as much as possible. It might
be hard to be fighting him straight up since he does teleport around the BCNM
area. if Gessho summon his clones, mages such as Black Mages should stop nuking
to not draw hate from the clones. The clones themselve don't hit too hard and
a tank like a Paladin can handle the swarm of clones. Even the damage dealers
can handle the hits from the clones. But you don't want the clones to swarm the
mages as they can kill the mages which is why its best for Black Mages or Red
Mages to halt nuking for a bit. Don't waste time fighting the clones. The clones
themselves will disappear after a short bit. They are mostly there as a distraction.
But they can be a problem if the clones go after the mages. When Gessho gets to
near 35% HP than you might want to go all out and see if you can push his HP down
to 15% to end the fight. Now in regards to Mijin Gakure, this can be a problem.
He can do it early in the fight and he can do it multiple times. You might be
able to survive one Mijin Gakure fighting Gessho straight up but you might be
in serous trouble if he decide to do it more than once. If Mijin Gakure is giving
you problem in this fight than switch to a kiting style and you should do fine.
It might take longer but at least it will give you a win. One thing about the
clones is that they can't be slept period so don't bother trying to sleep them.
Good luck. We did this with 5 party members using a kiting strategy because we
were getting Mijin Gakure spam.
